METRO. DISTRICT UPDATE:

The water level of the tank will be increase due to the approach of the irrigation and construction season. No change yet in the classification but the Metro. BOD will try to ‘test out’ of it. The new pump house will be built larger to accommodate any future treatment that may be required by the State. The plan of the Metro. BOD is to possibly do some of the pipeline this summer, from the pump house to the tank in 8” (HDP of C900 pipe) Permits need to be applied for and the BOD is considering going with another well, however, there could still be problems with fluoride, smell, etc.

There being no further discussion the meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.
