EL RANCHO FLORIDA HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION, INC.
REGULAR MEETING – September 9, 2008
A regular meeting of the El Rancho Florida Homeowners Association was held on September 9, 2008, 6:00 PM, at Rex Emenegger‘s house. Present at the meeting were:
Jack Wasserbach – President
Rex Emenegger – Vice President
Peter Dietrich
Marsha Moreland, Administrator was present for the meeting. The meeting was called to order at 6:05 PM.
MINUTES:
A motion was made, moved and passed to approve the minutes of August 12, 2008 as submitted.
PUBLIC FORUM:
The public forums that have been held are drawing new people each time to the meetings. The next meeting will be October 30th. at the Faith Community Church. Peter will get with Jack to do a presentation
explaining in layman’s terms the ballot question and the impacts it will have if passed. A notice will go out about September 25th reminding people of the November election and explaining the necessity of the Ballot Issue 5C on their ballots. It allows the Metro. District to spend, as needed over time, 2 million dollars on water system upgrades. The money is only used for the water system and not the roads or the common areas. Peter and Jack will get together before the middle of October and discuss the content of the presentation.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE:
A motion was made, moved and passed to approve the payables as signed.
METRO. DISTRICT UPDATE:
The tank project will be completed in 2009 late summer. No bond issue money is planned on being used. It will be funded strictly with the grant of $166,800 and reserves the Metro. District has built up over the years.
Russell Engineering is looking at the site for the tank, a survey is completed, soils testing are finished and the permit application will begin before the end of the year.
The next meeting will be October 7th. at Rex’s house.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 7:45 PM.
