RESOLUTION/ORDINANCE FOR AMENDMENT TO 2011 BUDGET, A 2011 SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET and APPROPRIATION of Additional Funds for 2011 

(Pursuant to Section 29-1-109, C.R.S.)

A   RESOLUTION/AN   ORDINANCE   APPROPRIATING  ADDITIONAL  SUMS  OF  MONEY  TO  DEFRAY  EXPENSES  IN  EXCESS  OF  AMOUNTS  BUDGETED  FOR EL RANCHO FLORIDA METROPOLITAN DISTRICT , DURANGO COLORADO.

WHEREAS,

The Board of Directors had undetermined expenses in the Enterprise fund of $129,500 in capital expenditures at the time the 2011 Budget was approved.  $20,000 to the water system line upgrades, $53,000 on pump house design, $10,000 on Engineering for the District’s Master Plan and $40,000 for Engineering on design criteria of ‘interim measures’ imposed by the State of Colorado. These measures were due to the re-classification of the District’s water system by the State from a ‘ground water’ system to a ‘ground water under the direct influence of surface water’ system. The Capital expenditures above were paid for out of the District’s Capital Reserve Fund.  There were also $6,500 expensed in line repairs that were unforeseen at the time of the budget adoption.

The receipt of $11,000 in unanticipated revenue from Oil and Gas Distributions was received by the District.  $8,000 was revenue from previous years that had not been received by the District until 2011. These were unanticipated revenue for the District’s Enterprise fund.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED/ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE EL RANCHO FLORIDA METROPOLITAN DISTRICT, DURANGO, COLORADO;

Section 1.  That the 2011 appropriation for the Enterprise fund is hereby increased from

$ 522,302.40 to $ 526,993.48 for the following purpose:  To allow for unanticipated expenditures at the time of the adoption of the 2011 Budget paid for out of the District’s Capital Reserve funds and the receipt of $11,000 of unanticipated Oil and Gas Distributions to the Enterprise Fund.
